In this role, you’ll be responsible for defining and implementing our overall cybersecurity strategy. You’ll be improving the solutions that we already have in place and building a roadmap for the implementation of new, cloud based solutions. You will be in charge of ensuring technical compliance and data protection regulations, enacting policies, and organizing internal/external security audits. You’ll boost cybersecurity awareness across all departments.
What you'll do:
- You’ll own the cybersecurity area at AirHelp.
- Define the strategy for the whole company and take charge of all security aspects.
- Lead security activities and develop a roadmap to address potential threats and vulnerabilities in our systems.
- Guide our engineering teams to develop security solutions that should be implemented across the organization.
- Lead cybersecurity risk management activities.
- Prepare budgets, training programs, and policies.
- Build awareness, lead security programmes and knowledge sharing initiatives.
- Work with the Data Protection Officer to address new regulations and legal compliance.
- Coach stakeholders and direct reports on security best practices and the business impact of security initiatives.
- Make security an integral part of AirHelp’s culture.
Ideally, you'll bring with you:
- Experience with company cybersecurity.
- Strong communication skills, and good business acumen.
- Experience in leading projects across the company, managing risks and threats, and interacting with senior stakeholders.
- Prior experience in conducting internal/external security audits.
- Fluency in English is a must.
