How it all began
Our founder Henrik Zillmer had an unpleasant experience in 2013 when his flight to Bali was delayed last-minute and he saw first-hand how hard it is to get compensation. Soon after, he set up AirHelp with one goal: to make flying less painful when your flight doesn’t go to plan.
Ten years later, we’ve grown from a fledgling start-up to an industry leader, using cutting-edge technology and our user-friendly website to help customers submit claims easily.
Our mission
We believe that travel makes the world a better place. Our global experts are here to help air passengers when their flights are delayed or canceled.
We make claiming compensation easy for everyone who’s unsure of their rights or lacks the time and expertise to claim by themselves.
We stand up to the airlines in court, and campaign for national governments to introduce fair air travel rights.
We’ve helped millions around the world through our fight for justice and we’re really proud of our 102k 5-star Trustpilot ratings.

You have the choice to either work from the comfort of your own home, or choose to visit one of our many office locations in Berlin, Barcelona, Gdańsk, Kraków, or Tarragona. You even have the option to work in a completely different country for a maximum of 2 weeks a year.
