Diversity, equity, inclusivity and belonging

At AirHelp, fairness and equality are not just ideals, but guiding principles ingrained in our DNA

As we tirelessly advocate for air passenger rights worldwide, it's only natural that our workplace operates on this same foundation. We firmly believe that a diverse and inclusive company isn't just a moral imperative —  it's the key to fostering innovation, engagement, and happiness within our teams.

We strive to build an organization where everyone belongs, regardless of age, abilities, race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, or socioeconomic background. We proudly stand as an equal opportunity employer, actively fostering an environment where everyone can thrive and succeed.

Inclusive hiring

Your application undergoes thorough evaluation by professionals trained to avoid bias. We practice blind CV screening, ensuring that details such as your ethnicity, nationality, gender, and age remain concealed until your first meeting with a recruiter. All interviews are conducted remotely, with flexibility to accommodate special needs, including those of neurodiverse candidates.

Fair compensation and advancement opportunities

All employees are assessed based on clear, merit-based criteria during semi-annual performance reviews. Advancement opportunities are equitable for everyone, regardless of background. We regularly review pay equity and our promotion processes to address any disparities promptly.

Training and education

We provide ongoing training and education on topics such as unconscious biases and neurodiversity at work, with new sessions added monthly to nurture an inclusive work environment.

Our offices are fully accessible

The physical premises are designed to accommodate individuals with disabilities, ensuring that everyone can access and use facilities comfortably and safely.

Feedback mechanisms

We closely monitor employee satisfaction and proactively seek input on how we can enhance our inclusivity efforts. As of 2024, 81% of employees consider us an inclusive workplace, and we're committed to increasing this figure.

The DEI committee

The DEI committee ensures diversity and inclusion in all corporate communications, events, and recognitions. They uphold fair compensation policies and promote DEI initiatives year-round. Also, we are proud to be certified as a Most Loved Workplace for LGBTQ+.
Last but not least, we understand that people may have different needs. Beyond all the policies mentioned above, we're first and foremost reasonable people with big hearts who care deeply about creating a great place to work for everyone. So, even if your needs go beyond what's mentioned above, just reach out to us, and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
